Owen Sound Marine & Rail Museum

Trail Users Section

The Owen Sound Marine & Rail Museum is housed in a former Canadian National Railway Station on the Owen Sound waterfront, a location covering both aspects of its historical focus.

The Museum's mission "is to bring people and history together".

The Museum's collection includes scale models of ships, steamers, trains, a dugout canoe, shipbuilding tools, marine and railway uniforms, various flags, equipment and many other items relating to the area's marine, rail and industrial past.

The displays are rotated on a regular basis, so each Museum visit offers a different glimpse into days gone by.

We can be found at 1155 1st Avenue West in Owen Sound, ON, or you can call us at 519-371-3333.
